1. Who operates this service

Domain Watch is operated by an individual freelance developer, not through a registered company. There is no corporate liability shield between the operator and this service.

2. What this service does — and does not do

Domain Watch monitors domain names you add to your watchlist and emails you when their registration status changes (for example, when a domain becomes available, approaches expiry, or enters a redemption or pending-delete period).

Domain Watch does not acquire, register, back-order, or bid on domains on your behalf, and does not guarantee that you will be able to register any domain it alerts you about. Domain availability can change within seconds of a watched domain becoming available, and other parties (including automated registrars and drop-catch services) may register it first. Watching a domain and receiving an alert is not, and must never be understood as, a reservation, hold, or guarantee of acquisition.

3. No warranty on data accuracy or timeliness

Domain status, expiry dates, and registrar information are derived from third-party RDAP/WHOIS data sources that Domain Watch does not control. This data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and registries/registrars may change or restrict access to it at any time. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty — express or implied — that domain status information is accurate, complete, or delivered on any particular schedule (domains are currently checked on a daily cycle, not in real time).

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to any financial loss connected to failing to register a domain, inaccurate or delayed status information, or service downtime. Where liability cannot be fully excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

5. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to use automated means to abuse the signup or watchlist systems, and not to use the service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis at the price and watchlist limits shown at the time of purchase. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
